About Us
FateGuide is an online site devoted to Rider–Waite tarot readings — designed, built, and maintained by a single independent developer.
What makes FateGuide different
Server-side draws; AI only interprets
Card draws, spreads, and orientation are all determined server-side with a verifiable random process; AI only interprets the imagery — it never influences the result.
Privacy first, encrypted reports
Every report is stored fully encrypted with AES-256-GCM; personal information never leaves ciphertext, and only the server holds the key.
Completely free, no paywall
All reading features are free — the 78-card RWS meaning library is open for browsing. Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only.
A one-person project
FateGuide is not a team product — product design, interface, front-end and back-end development, through deployment and operations, are all done by one independent developer in spare hours. Every line of code and every carefully weighed sentence comes from the same pair of hands.
The founding idea was simple: tarot is a mirror that reflects the unconscious, not a standard answer from fate. That's why this site is built on verifiable draw logic and restrained, neutral interpretation — a quiet, trustworthy little tool with no tricks.
One person builds slowly, but each step is taken seriously. If FateGuide has helped you, feel free to support us by scanning the tip code; and if you have thoughts to share, write to us any time through the Contact Us page.
