Number Meanings
Within a single suit, the numbered cards from 1 to 10 trace one energy curve, and the same curve is performed once in each of the four suits: 1 is the starting point and its potential, 2 through 4 are forming and steadying, 5 through 7 are conflict and grinding, 8 through 10 are harvest and endgame. The number supplies the stage, the suit supplies the theme, and multiplying the two derives the tone of any card — every number below links out to its four cards so you can compare them one by one.
Pure beginning and potential: something has just started, and anything is still possible.
Pairing and choice: facing a fork — who to travel with, or which of two options to take.
First shaping and the fruit of cooperation: seeing what you are building take form for the first time.
Stability and stagnation separated by a hair: the structure is up, and may already be setting rigid.
Turmoil and loss: the existing structure is interrupted and needs readjustment.
Repair and rebalancing: recovering order and goodwill after a shake-up.
Weighing and persistence: facing choices and illusions calls for clearer judgment.
Power taking shape: mastery and refinement, with a risk of becoming trapped by what you have built.
Near completion: nine-tenths accumulated, and the last test is whether to let go or push on.
Endgame and overload: a cycle reaches its limit, with fulfillment and collapse arriving together.
